This started with my grandmother.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time helping my grandmother and my aunt with miscellaneous tasks around their homes. Moving things, cleaning up, hauling items, and taking care of the jobs that could become difficult or overwhelming. What always meant the most to me wasn’t just completing the work. It was seeing the relief, happiness, and appreciation on their faces when I was finished.
Those experiences are a big part of why I started Clean Living Removal. I wanted to build a business where helping people actually means something.
We focus on 55+ communities because I know firsthand how much a helping hand can mean. Whether you’re downsizing, moving, cleaning out a home, or just have things that need to go, we’re here to make it easier and take the stress off your shoulders.
Most importantly, we treat every customer the way I would want my own grandmother or aunt to be treated, with patience, respect, honesty, and genuine care. When we show up to your home, we want you to feel like you’re dealing with family, not just another company.

How does pricing work?
It's based on how much space your stuff takes up in the truck. One price covers the labor and the disposal. See the price sheet above, and Connor confirms the exact number before any work starts.
Do you help with downsizing and estate cleanouts?
Yes, that's most of what we do. We work with 55+ communities on downsizing, move preparation, estate cleanouts, and getting a home ready to sell. You don't lift anything or sort anything ahead of time. We can also set aside items you'd like donated and take them where they need to go.
Can I arrange this for a parent or family member?
All the time. Plenty of our jobs are set up by an adult child or a family member who lives somewhere else. Fill out the form with the pickup address, and put yourself down as the contact so Connor calls you. You don't have to be there on the day.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Single item pickups start at $95, so that is the floor for any job. If you've only got one or two things, that's still a real job to us.
What if I have more junk than I estimated?
No problem, and no surprise bill. Connor looks at everything and confirms the exact price with you before any work starts. If it's more than you thought, you hear the number first.
Can I get a price before you come out?
Yes. Fill out the form and Connor calls or texts you back with an honest quote before any work starts.
Do you offer same-day service?
Same day, next day, most days. The earlier you reach out, the better. We usually need about three hours of lead time.
What areas do you cover?
Fredericksburg, Richmond, Northern Virginia, and everywhere between. A little further out works with some lead time.
What won't you take?
For safety and the law, we can't take hazardous materials. That means paint, thinners, and solvents. Fuels like gas, diesel, and kerosene. Motor oil, transmission fluid, and antifreeze. Propane tanks and fire extinguishers. Pesticides, weed killers, and pool chemicals. Hazardous household cleaners, batteries, explosives, asbestos, medical waste and sharps, mercury items like old thermometers, fluorescent and CFL bulbs, and tires. Not sure about something? Just ask.
Do I need to be home?
No. It helps if you can be there, but it isn't required. If you won't be there, we'll sort out access and an on-site contact when Connor calls.
What do you do with my stuff?
We donate and recycle whatever we can and dispose of the rest the right way.
How do I pay?
